In a Sea of Mist (original)

The view I see beyond this point
is shown as a solid stone,
but I am aware that despite its thickness
this mist is ephemeral, intangible, ethereal…
I am afraid to go into the cold sea,
afraid to break its subtile fragility.
I’m looking for myself inside this vast amount of quiet storm,
but there is just a huge wall of mist that blinds me.
A wall that obscures the panes enclosing my conscience,
a wall that catches with its landscape those who contemplate it.
And following the steps that have brought me up here
I dive into this sea that terrifies me.
Sooner or later I’ll find out the way home… My way home.

La vista que veo más allá de este punto
se muestra como una piedra sólida,
pero soy consciente de que a pesar de su grosor
esta niebla es efímera, intangible, etérea…
Tengo miedo de ir al mar frío,
temeroso de romper su sutil fragilidad.
Me busco dentro de esta gran cantidad de tormenta tranquila,
pero solo hay un gran muro de niebla que me ciega.
Un muro que oscurece los cristales que encierran mi conciencia,
un muro que atrapa con su paisaje a quien lo contempla.
Y siguiendo los pasos que me han traído hasta aquí
Me sumerjo en este mar que me aterra.
Tarde o temprano encontraré el camino a casa... Mi camino a casa.
