I am a bee out in the fields of winter

Oblivion carries me on his shoulder:

Composer’s Notes.
Harmonic structure: a set of horizontal vocal lines
is improvised in at least three ranges, the vertical effect
of which is atonal tone clusters and arhythmic counterpoint.
Performance: the written melody is to be sung, after which
the lines of lyric are to be reordered at will and sung
to improvised melody, taking advantage of the opportunity
for quartertones, third note lengths, and flexible tempo.

Soy una abeja en los campos de invierno
Y aunque memoricé la pendiente del agua,
El olvido me lleva en su hombro:
Más allá de los soles hablo y los circuitos tiemblan,
Pero aunque grito la sabiduría de los mapas,
Soy un salmón en el río en forma de anillo.

Estructura armónica: un conjunto de líneas vocales horizontales
se improvisa en al menos tres rangos, el efecto vertical
de los cuales son grupos de tonos atonales y contrapunto arrítmico.
Interpretación: la melodía escrita debe ser cantada, después de lo cual
las líneas de la letra deben ser reordenadas a voluntad y cantadas
a la melodía improvisada, aprovechando la oportunidad
para cuartos de tono, duraciones de tercera nota y tempo flexible.
