Take a light bulb from the closet\nAnd replace the one above the faucet\nScrape the whisker from my face\nNick my lip in pointless haste\nTake a magical marker black\nDarken a spot on the map\nOf a county on the coast\nWhere I was born out of a ghost\nUnderneath the ceiling fan\nContemplate a master plan\nBreathe a sigh of recognition\nFor a childhood superstition\nPush a thumbtack in the wall\nPierce the picture, I did draw\nIt’s a graphic portrait from my youth\nAnd it hurts my heart this forced review
